OCA-NY (Organization of Chinese Americans - New York chapter) is co-sponsoring an online petition to WCBS-TV Channel 2 to
Bring back two-time Emmy Award winner Cindy Hsu as news anchor of the CBS 2 News.
Ms. Hsu was recently removed from her anchor position effective April 15 although she continues to appear on CBS 2 News as a reporter. We do not know why she was de facto demoted. Sources close to Ms. Hsu tell us that it was a surprise to her and that she is not happy with her removal from the anchor desk. Ms. Hsu is an award winning journalist, a role model, and she has been very supportive of the Asian Pacific American community, including OCA chapters, and other groups. She is adored and respected by many.
Read the World Journal article about her removal as anchor and sign the online petition at:

This petition is being sponsored by a diverse coalition organizations (see below) in New Jersey and New York who recently held a very successful petition drive at the 27th Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival in Union Square Park on May 7th. The Coalition recently sent a letter to WCBS-TV expressing our concerns and requesting a meeting.
Please send this to everyone you know and have them sign the petition.
Tell other organizations that you are affiliated with to join our coalition today.
OCA - New York Chapter is a member of the Coalition and participated in the May 7th petition drive.
