About us

Welcome to Asians Inc., a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community through advocacy, education, and cultural celebration. Founded in 2010, Asians Inc. serves as a bridge between diverse Asian cultures and the broader American society, fostering inclusion, opportunity, and pride in heritage.

Our Mission

Asians Inc. is committed to advancing the voices, rights, and achievements of AAPI individuals and families. Our mission is to dismantle barriers, promote equity, and build a more vibrant, inclusive future where every Asian story contributes to the American narrative. Through collaborative partnerships and innovative programs, we work to amplify underrepresented perspectives and drive systemic change.

Our History

Established in the heart of [City, e.g., San Francisco], California, by a coalition of community leaders, educators, and activists, Asians Inc. emerged in response to growing needs for cultural representation and support following the economic recession. From humble beginnings with community workshops, we’ve expanded nationally, impacting over 100,000 individuals through grants, events, and advocacy campaigns. Milestones include our landmark 2015 National AAPI Youth Summit and the 2023 launch of the Equity in Education Initiative, which addresses disparities in higher learning for AAPI students.

What We Do

Our programs are designed to uplift and unite the AAPI community across four key areas:

  • Advocacy & Policy: Lobbying for equitable policies on immigration, healthcare, and anti-discrimination laws, with annual reports influencing legislation at local and federal levels.
  • Education & Leadership: Offering scholarships, mentorship programs, and leadership training to empower the next generation of AAPI professionals and changemakers.
  • Cultural Preservation: Hosting festivals, art exhibitions, and storytelling events that celebrate Asian heritage and combat stereotypes.
  • Community Support: Providing resources for mental health, economic development, and disaster relief tailored to AAPI needs.

To date, we’ve distributed over $5 million in scholarships and supported more than 500 community-led projects.
